Ravi is the executive director and founder member of Edifice. He looks after business development, brand & knowledge management He has also heads projects in Edifice. He is an alumnus of Sir J.J. College of Architecture Mumbai.

Session 2: MNRE Headquarter NZEB HVAC design – energy consumption reduction strategies through effective HVAC system design
by Samdarsh Nayyar, founder, Green Horizon Consulting LLP
Samdarsh is the founder of Green Horizon Consulting LLP. He is also one of the Directors in Sunil Nayyar Consultants Pvt. Ltd. He has a background of Building Engineering Systems and Systems efficiency, he has been involved in MEP designing and sustainability consulting on a number of projects.

Session 3: The real use of energy models – Parametric modelling and general optimization for effective decision makings
by SMH Adil, Built Environment Simulation Specialist, Global Evolutionary Energy Design
Adil is a Built Environment Simulation Specialist, he has 13 years of research, consultancy, training experience in energy simulation, modeling and design fields. He is one of the founding members of IBPSA (I) International Building Performance Simulation Association.

Session 4: Daylighting simulation – use of dynamic software tools to design adequate daylighting in a space
by Jeevan Mohan, Associate partner and head of sustainable design, Terra Viridis, Hyderabad
Jeevan is an Associate partner and head of sustainable design at Terra Viridis, Hyderabad. He specializes in Daylight assessment by means of computational analysis. He has done his M.Arch in Technology from University of Nottingham UK.

Session 5: Evaluation performance of simulated annealing and genetic algorithm based approach in building optimization
by Piyush Varma, Senior Building Analyst, Environmental design solutions
Piyush has over six years of experience in the field of sustainable construction. He has keen interest in building design evaluation and exploring various design tools. He is currently associated with Environmental Design Solutions as Senior Building Analyst.

Session 6: International Solar Decathlon competition work
by Team Shunya, IIT Bombay
Team Shunya comprise of professors and students from IIT Bombay, who work with the vision of meeting the growing demand for urban housing in India through sustainable and affordable means. It is the only Indian team to be selected as finalists for the International Solar Decathlon competition in China.
